DOS VIENTOS PLAYFIELD

Dos Vientos Playfield is a 26 acre playfield park adjacent to the Conejo Mountain Creek wetlands and south of the southeast corner of Via Rio and Calle del Prado in the Dos Vientos Ranch area of Thousand Oaks. The playfield will feature: three lighted softball fields with soccer overlays; lighted tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts; a playground, walking path around the park perimeter, restroom facility and a parking lot.

In general, hours of operation for similar facilities within the District are 7am to 10pm seven days per week. Use of the facilities is primarily by reservation.

It is anticipated the Conejo Recreation and Park District Board will consider the award of a construction contract to the lowest responsible responsive bidder in the beginning of October 2011; thus, the current estimated construction schedule is to start at the end of October 2011 and complete improvements in Summer 2012, with a duration of approximately 8 months.
