It’s no secret that we’re in a challenging economic climate - unemployment is holding steady at 25-year highs, the state is dealing with massive budget shortages and the federal government is running an all-time high deficit.

One of the biggest impacts has been to our school funding...

What most people don’t realize is how much communities MUST do to create a quality educational environment. Sycamore Canyon is no different. We lead the pack because parents, students, and the school work together to create the best possible environment.

In order for us to continue this level of performance and ensure all of our kids continue to receive a quality educational experience, we need to raise $157,00 (click here to view the budget). Without these monies we will be in jeopardy of losing the programs, specialists, personnel, and support that we need to make Sycamore Canyon School what it is today.

All monies donated go towards the benefit of the school and the programs listed above. All donations are tax deductible.

We are asking all families to donate $200 for the first child at Sycamore and $100 for each additional child. If you can give more - please do, because not all of our families are in a position to give. If you can’t give the average, please donate what you can. All donations are greatly appreciated and will allow Sycamore Canyon to continue to lead the pack.



	Raise money for Sycamore Canyon by shopping at the Oaks Mall! Sycamore Canyon School placed #3 in Conejo Valley! Materials were purchased for school use at the Oaks mall. It’s easy…Have your receipts stamped at Customer Service at the Oaks Mall or send them back to school and we will get them stamped for you! Program runs through April 30, 2012. 	Eating Soup = Money for Sycamore Canyon! Last year, Sycamore Canyon received $2,338.90! SAVE General Mills BOX TOPS & Campbell’s Labels and we earn points! These points are redeemed for school use (classroom supplies, PE equipment, library, etc.) Plus we reward students monthly with popcorn or licorice when they return labels. 	How Fresh & Easy Is This? Turn in your receipts from Fresh & Easy from September 1 through December 31, 2011 and Fresh & Easy will give money back to the school. There is a turn-in box in the lobby of the school.

	Using your credit card or grocery loyalty card is money for Sycamore Canyon! This one is the easiest! Just register your credit cards or grocery loyalty cards (like Vons) with www.escrip.com (Sycamore Canyon ID#: 148948716) and then go shop - that’s it! (Note: this does not conflict or void other programs like UPromise).
