Join us on Wednesday, 10/7 as we celebrate National Walk & Roll to School Day with thousands of other schools across the country. Meet at the Dos Vientos Community Center Tennis Courts or Harvest Moon Pool (at Camino Ventana & Camino Del Sol) at 7:30 am. Both parent-escorted groups will head out promptly at 7:40 am. Let's get active with our community and show our Coyote spirit!
'Try It, You'll Like It' is a fun event where we introduce a different fruit or vegetable to the kids each month. It is held during the Elementary first recess for K-5th graders. Volunteers will help hand out food samples or stickers to the kids where they will vote on whether they like or dislike the fruit or vegetable. Sign-up to help volunteer here!
This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me” — a wonderful opportunity for students to express their creativity and share what their culture means to them. Pick a category—options include Visual Arts, Music, Photography, Dance, Film, or Literature, give it a title and artistic statement, and submit it here. Visual art and photography submissions will be collected at the lunch shelter and middle school gate before school on October 15.
Save the Date! The Sycamore Canyon School Halloween Hop is coming up on Saturday, October 17th from 5:30–7:30 PM in the Middle School Gym! Join us for a spooky-not-scary evening of family fun with a DJ, photo booths, glow gear, and more. This free event is open to all TK–8th grade Sycamore Canyon students, BeMe Preschool students, and their families.
Please note: this is a different event from the Middle School Dance on 10/23.
Join us Friday, September 18 for a special outdoor showing of Minions & Monsters! Gates open at 5pm and move starts at 6:15pm. ASB will be hosting fun games and activities before the movie starts, including Freeze Dance and more! This is a FREE event and is open to all Be Me Preschool - 8th grade students and their families. Bring your blankets and low back chairs, pack a picnic dinner, and join us for a fun night under the stars!

Week of Giving is our biggest donation drive of the year, and your support sets us up to fund the educational enrichment and community programming that benefit our students throughout the year. Our goal is to raise $40,000 this week! Consider donating to the PTSA this week.
We kindly recommend a $180 annual donation for elementary school students or a $90 annual donation for middle school students. You can easily donate online or write a check to Sycamore Canyon School PTSA and drop it off in the front office. Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of Grandparent/Loved One Bingo on Sunday, September 13 from 3:00–4:30 PM in the MPR!
